Thade School Project supports children in the mountain village of Thade in Nepal with acces to a school nearby home. Learning to read and write creates opportunities for an independent life with good health, increased gender equality and opportunities to influence. Education is a way out of poverty and vulnerability.
The Grace Academy Thade English School building was completed in May 2015. Today, in 2019, the school has 52 students - about as many girls as boys - from preschool class to class 4. The studens are both fromThade and the villages around. There is a student home in Thade for the children who has a long walk back home after the school day.
